Our hospital's Department of Cardiovascular Medicine currently has six cardiology specialists, and is equipped with two catheterization labs to provide cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment services. Most cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary artery interventional treatments, are performed via the wrist, significantly reducing post-operative complications. Patients are able to move freely after the procedure, and the success rate is high. Our hospital is also certified for acute coronary syndrome treatment.

Since its establishment, the department has continuously strove to provide patients with services with as much of a human touch as possible. In terms of equipment, we have successively introduced atherectomy systems, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), 3D color Doppler ultrasound, and exercise electrocardiogram devices. We also collaborate with the "Heart Protection Guard" emergency notification group to enhance the care for acute coronary syndrome patients. The time required for emergency cardiac catheterization has been reduced to meet the standards of advanced countries in Europe and the United States.

After the integration of the Chest Pain Center, the cardiology team, in cooperation with the cardiovascular surgery ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) team, has significantly improved the survival rate of patients with acute coronary syndrome complicated by cardiogenic shock. The 24-hour cardiac catheterization treatment has saved the lives of many acute coronary syndrome patients.

We actively race against time, providing patients with the best medical technology and quality. Along with the clinical introduction of new equipment, we also participate in the education of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty for arteriovenous fistula, training cardiologists from other hospitals in the treatment of arteriovenous fistula blockages.
