Examination and treatment items
Our hospital presently operates two catheterization laboratories dedicated to cardiovascular diseases. These laboratories provide round-the-clock emergency cardiac catheterization examination and treatment, ensuring that patients in the Pingtung area receive the utmost prompt service and care for acute myocardial infarction.
In addition to routine cardiac catheterization examinations and treatments (including balloon angioplasty and stent placement), we also utilize intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), a Rotablator, two ECMO machines, and therapeutic hypothermia. This enhances the precision of cardiovascular treatments, providing patients with greater assurance.
We provide the following services for peripheral arterial and venous diseases: interventional examinations and carotid artery angiography; percutaneous transluminal angioplasty for thrombectomy and hemodialysis fistula; and stent placement and interventional treatment for peripheral arterial and venous stenosis. Additionally, we are currently actively integrating with urology specialists to provide interventional treatment for male vasculogenic ED (erectile dysfunction).
In terms of arrhythmias, we conduct electrophysiological studies, radio frequency ablation, and pacemaker implantation procedures. Additionally, we provide implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) device implantation. for the treatment of ventricular fibrillation and heart failure patients.
Our cardiac function assessment and examination services include: exercise electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitoring, peripheral vascular ultrasound, deep venous blood flow examination, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
Our hospital integrates cardiovascular medicine, cardiac surgery, and various other specialized medical resources, combined with advanced medical equipment and a professional medical team. In cooperation with the Radiology Department's 64-slice CT scans and Nuclear Medicine's Thallium-201 myocardial perfusion imaging, we provide "early treatment" services for cardiovascular disease patients.
